Firstly, that was beautiful TF
I'm afraid that 2 to 3 years team building won't become a reality unless Brian has this team actually resembling a team in the first half of next year. He'll be gone if we are still struggling in December.
Every single summer is massive, for every single club.
This summer is no different and some big clubs look to be joining the league - the gap in performance will become bigger and not many will stand and watch us drop back down he league pyramid because we wanted to team build. The board cannot afford to be complacent and flirt with relegation, hence why they will assess the manager each December. As I said above - this is sports and you need performances to keep the punters happy. Thus far, you can't blame them; the improvement is not visibly there to see.
I personally feel Brian does not deserve some of the slander he has been receiving. But I do feel that the next 6 to 8 months will determine his future with RFC.
