Glorious old school snow game going on at the mo. Freiburg v Leipzig. Orange ball, cleared lines and an absolute blizzard. Brilliant stuff!

Messi misses from the penalty spot for the 4th time this season. Barcelona's 10th penalty miss of the season.

Sociadad's 4th consecutive home win over barcelona

18 year old who scored ran their defence ragged. Star in the making maybe.

Suarez has scored 45 goals in 45 games for Barca

by Ibrahimovic10 » 11 Apr 2016 07:54

"What Luis Suarez does for us, not just his goals, but his work and character, is why we decided to sign him."

"Luis Suarez is a very intelligent guy. When he arrived here he knew he'd be in the eye of the storm for anything he did," added Luis Enrique.

This season has been Suarez’s best. He has scored 45 goals in 45 games for Barca, providing 18 assists, more than both Messi and Ronaldo. Only his 49 goals during the 2009/10 campaign at Ajax marked a better return. Barca will play at least nine more games as the Uruguayan looks to set his personal bar ever higher.

In terms of immeasurable impact, Suarez has also improved the performances of those around him; a select few are capable of almost bringing a Premier League winner’s medal to Aly Cissokho’s neck. The 29-year-old is the facilitator of Barcelona’s forward play, the perennial team player who is excelling as an individual in a system built for someone else.

Barcelona doing a Burton Albion. 1 point from the last 4 league games. 1 win in the last 6 games in all comps.

1 point between the top 3 now with 5 left to play for each of them

First time they have lost 3 league games on the spin since 2002-03.
I fancy Atletico to win it again now.

I want them to win it. Very hard working team with no (compared to real and barca) superstars and expensive players but they are like Leicester. The whole team plays as one and battles.

I should think that's a first, Burton being mentioned in the same breath as Barcelona. :|
It sets their season up for a tight finish in Spain whereas our (so-called) more competitive Premier League is down to just the 2 clubs.

I think hitting the Premier League with that stick when the two likely champions are competing for a first title ever and the first in 55 years is a little rich.

39 year old Francesco Totti comes off the bench on the 86th minute with Roma losing last night, scores twice to win 3-2.

6 goals and 2 assists in 10 appearances this season. He's a machine. Apparently a Leicester target, but I expect he'll end up in MLS/China next season.

Can't see past Barca now for La Liga. Now they've found their form again - their final three opponents are all bottom half (likewise Atletico play two of the bottom five), I think they'll take it on goal difference.
