Winston Smith Cuadrado scored a belter at the weekend

Good. He's still a Chelsea player. According to the papers Conte wants him back for next season.

Why do you think he didn't get a chance at Chelsea?

Player doesn't feature much in the managers plans - they sell him
Same as Lukaku.
It happens.

Wasn't entirely sure why Courtois got the red - he had men back covering. Gomes only got a yellow for Watford and it was a similar offence.

Think he knew he was getting it though. Look at his reaction as soon as he makes contact, knows exactly what's coming.

Good for them. Lets hope that one day they turn some of those promising youth players into decent top end Premier League players.

When was the last one they produced?

What's up with Courtois? He's looked a shadow of the Atletico player, and the one who first came into the Chelsea line-up. Suffering for not having Cech snapping at his heels?

Back in March No Fixed Abode RLC signs a new contract.

I dread to think how much he must be on now then. Wasn't he on a ridiculous amount before he'd even got a sniff of the first team 3 or 4 years ago.

I do hope he kicks on to become the player he could be. With all the money thrown at him and the lack of first team football he's getting as a result of being at Chelsea I do worry he'll be yet another talent that fails to fulfill their potential.

I read this morning that the contract he signed was around the £60k a week mark! How ridiculous is that considering how little he's actually achieved.

The same report was suggesting that Solanke is looking for somewhere in the region of £50k a week in order to sign a new contract.

In the meantime they reckon thst Deli Alli's new contract was £25k!

Chelsea have made a rod for their own back if they are actually paying RLC £60k a week.
I just hope he gets a proper run in the team. Solanke too - clearly a talent, I'd sooner Chelsea showed him the door if it means him joining a team where he will play 30 games next season.

You should give some of them a chance in the first team, considering your league form this year.

Don't be bitter Winston. Some might have a good career at Reading one day. Bodes well for the National team in years to come too.

Saw a retweet from Kes last night from CheLOLsea FC stating that all players involved in the FA Cup youth win are eligible to play for England. Whilst that is great news for the country, will be interesting to see how many will make the grade at the club. As discussed elsewhere on this thread their track record isn’t that great, but perhaps with Utd turning to youngsters this season we are seeing a change in how big clubs operate. I probably wouldn’t post as much on this thread if CheLOLsea first XI was majority English.
