BFTG Preston

by Binfield Royal » 30 Apr 2016 17:06

Everyone was rubbish.

We need a Harris Queensway in the summer. (Massive Clearout)

They can all leave TBH and let Brian rebuild from the bottom up.

Its not the losing, its the cant be arsed attitude.

Get us a team that wants to play for the shirt.

And get a new manager while we are at it.Ultimately Brian has had 6 months to sort it out and we've gone backwards in that time.

Barrett was excellent.
Should have been playing for weeks.

Reading have been flat for months every time Williams plays in midfield. Lots of huff and puff but zero quality.

Our season in perfect microcosm

Have to have a moan about Williams. He hides all game. Stands next to oppo players instead of getting in space. Points out passes to other players instead of demanding it. Barely jogs about, usually away from the ball.
Get rid of him please

Yep, Barrett only positive. Calm, confident, good feet, nice range of passing. Don't think he misplaced a pass.

Our defence was an absolute joke today.

Thought Johnson looked good for them. Was their best player in the away game as well.

Lack of motivation, work ethic, teamwork, pace, guile, everything.

Thoroughly depressing.

Al-Habsi and Barrett were good.

We have good players, we just don't play as a team ... something seriously amiss. Budgetwise we're milion miles ahead of Preston ... but it doesn't show in the performance or results.

Quinn, Rakels, Barrett all decent.

Aside from McShane, Quinn, Rakels, Al-Habsi, literally the rest can all f'ck off.

Certainly won't miss Nowood or Williams. They just slow everything down

Gunter on the left....just LOL

Piss Poor Performance.

A poor end to a poor season - that Ipswich game seems a long long time ago.

Looking forward to seeing Barrett as a regular next year.

Fella nicking the match ball was the highlight.

For the benefit of those not in attendance, we could have easily been 3-0 down by half-time. Al Habsi impressed. Josh Barrett looked more composed than any of the starting 11!

Basically, there was only one team that was up for it: and that team wasn't Reading.
