whats wrong with you? why do people find the littlest things to moan about, the stadium won't be used for the next three months, why not have a family day, and make some money along the way. Just don't understand how this could offend in any way.

It was cringy enough just looking on at Fulham doing it, and here we are copying. FWIW I hate pretty much everything about the modern family friendly game!

why is it cringy though? because you read it about fulham somewhere on the interspaz? this should have no bearing on you whatsoever, are you worried some interspaz bullies are going to post pictures and laugh at us? grow up! and if this is not your sort of thing, then here is an idea... Don't go then

+ about a million

It's just a family event for fans to keep people amused during the off-season. Has absolutely no bearing on anything team or football related. Why would anyone get upset about it?

Obviously not going to relay the pitch close season. This means we will have a crap pitch next season, which will be worn out by Xmas which will add to the sub standard performance on the pitch.

I suppose it makes a nice change from panic on the pitch.

They are just trying to sell all the stock out of the megastore: blankets, beach towels, frisbees, water bottles and soft footballs, t-shirts, polo tops etc.

It is not the most beautiful setting for a picnic though.

Can I bring my barbecue? Actually, I might set up a little firepit on the centre spot. I'll bring some firewood, yeah, it could be great fun. I'll dig out the centre spot and make a little pit. Bring your meat and I will grill it for you.

This is going to be a great picnic. I'm looking forward to it already.

It's going to be a great party Woodley. Will you help me dig out my firepit in the centre spot? I'm going to run the barbecue.

Yeah, of course you can. We can designate the goal mouth as an area that they can defecate when they need to.

Sounds like a good idea - anything to get new people to the stadium.

Though their faith in the British weather might be a little misplaced . . . .

The game's moved on m8, if you haven't then that's your lookout really.

Can't you just have a night at the darts or something?
