One8Seven1* It was cringy enough just looking on at Fulham doing it, and here we are copying. FWIW I hate pretty much everything about the modern family friendly game!

As a matter of interest, how old are you then?

As a 61 year old I can't see what you are complaining about and I certainly do remember the 'good old days'!

Bloody hell. People are moaning about a freakin' picnic!!??!

Here are some things worth moaning about: this season, last season, McDermott, Cooper, Clarke, HRK, the PR guy....

Try one of those things.. Our fans are REALLY moaning about a PICNIC? ... just... what??

One8Seven1* https://t.co/b2iTxv3kZv

This club just gets worse. How very middle class.

So pleased you posted this as was unaware.

What a fantastic idea. All over this and my football mad loving kids are incredibly excited.

A very much IN from this household.

(is this cup final day tho?)

Will you help me dig out my firepit? I'm running the barbecue. Bring some meat and I will grill it for you. It's going to be a great party.

I've got some speakers that I can bring as well, so that we can get some decent party music. Woodley needs to borrow a cherry picker if you know of anything.

Should we plan some donkey/camel rides for the kids?

Yes, alcohol definitely encouraged. Can you take care of the bonfire that we're also planning for the centre circle Jagermeister? Nothing like a good bonfire at a picnic. We can sing songs and dance around the fire. This is going to be so great.

This really. There are a fcuk of a lot bigger things going on at the club to get worked up about at the moment than an off season picnic.

I'm planning to set up a Tiki bar in the dugout but I'm going to need help lifting/levelling out the pool table. There's a pint in it if you give me a hand.

Nah, you are alright.

Hamper, blanket, football if allowed, company of my kids and partner is enough for us, but thanks anyway.

The game's moved on m8, if you haven't then that's your lookout really.

Can't you just have a night at the darts or something?

or get a couple of m8's together....you could easily run the picnic crowd

Not for me but I imagine for some kids it is amazing to sit on the pitch and have a picnic. Fair play to the club.

Why sit and eat a picnic in the middle of a stadium when we have places like Pangbourne along the Thames so close by?

If they're showing cup final on the big screen, we're there.

I am not sure how I feel about this. Can someone gauge the opinion of opposition supporters on social media for us please before we decide :?: Search under the hashtag 'Tinpot'.

Really can't understand why some people are so angry about this. It's just an end of season event that doesn't effect anything that happens in games. If it's not for you, just ignore it

Seems like a great idea from the club, give the chance for some footy mad youngsters to have a picnic and a run around on the pitch, maybe flog a few bits of kiddy merch and generally foster a sense of community with the next generation of fans.

What is there to be "embarassed" about? Some hoolie clubs taking the p1ss out of us on the interspaz? Boo hoo.
