Tabb went on loan to Ipswich in March of that season and was told long before that that he was surplus to requirements. So he was not in Caricco's way.

Vydra - unfit when arrived, possibly misused when he initially got in the team, confidence evaporated, poor service, poor team, weak willed combination of all
Murray - was plenty fine when here
Antonio - young and inexperienced, needed the long playing time we couldn't afford him to come good
Afobe - young and inexperienced, only here on loan for a few months
