The word ATTENDANCE is quite clear

and this year, despite a gimmick which probably created (a guess) maybe 1-2 thousand
"ticket-sales" the apparent "attendance" (which we all know to be Mickey Mouse) appeared
to creep up a couple of hundred

So it's likely that the actual numbers IN THE GROUND, actually attending went down.

And that would match the eyeball test where it seemed we had more empty seats this year most of the time

Either way none of this has an relevance to the sale of Nick Blackman.

I disagree, the only reason I bought a season ticket was for the chance to see Nick Blackman. Now that he has left i will be spending my hard earned disposable on lawn bowls instead.

Between £365 and £645 depending on if you're a first timer sitting in the nose-bleeds or if you've renewed for at least 3 years and sitting pretty.

So £645 + £104.50 per home game on the train from here makes about £3,000. I'm coming Nick...as long as it doesn't interfere with the indoor championships....

To be fair, that is snowballs point, and he said it in his original post.

Snowball
genome Our average attendance is actually up on last year.

I doubt it. Last season (2015-16) they gave out these free grand-kid STs

I bought my ST, an 18-24 ST for my daughter and a grandkid freebie
and went to every game on my own! (but counted as three attendees)

Attendance figures show the number of tickets sold and not the number of people through the door so the rise in reported attendances include the freebie kids (I don't think we did them in 2014-15 did we?).

Wrong as I imagine his family stopped attending games once he was sold, thereby reducing attendance slightly.

We're there really 1-2000 grand kid season tickets sold though? That would be up to 1 in 6 of our season ticket holders taking up the offer

No Fixed Abode

Takings for the 2nd half of the season in the concourses and club shop fell by 26.2%.

Nope, I doubt it.

IMO attendances have dropped towards the end of the season, there's not much doubt in my mind about that but the figures will include all those ST sold but not used.

So you're genuinely saying people drank less Coca Cola as a result of Nick Blackmans departure?

2014/15 17,022

add 247 Kiddy tickets = 17,269 (and I bought a never-used 17-24 ticket 17,270

2015/16 17,285

Good to know attendance was up 15.

Why would you mix those two ?
One is run by RFC, the other is franchised out to Compass.

Club still gets the money, not Compass.
