The "who do you want next as manager "poll

by Binfield Royal » 27 May 2016 11:50

Jaap Stam has been linked in the press

Ryan Giggs looks likely to leave United

Neil Warnock doesn't have a club right now

Any other ideas?

If we get any credible suggestions in the thread as it develops, I will add the name to the poll

* Update - apparently you can't update a poll without deleting all the previous votes - something of which I was not aware so apologise.

Charlie Hurley for me (well it makes about as much sense as appointing Brian for 5 months)

Would have liked Pearson, but think we'll be priced out. Not got much hope, it'll probably be Avram Grant and the end of the world as we know it.

I'm sure it will be a foreigner. I have no problem with this to be honest.

The amount of English managers in the PL is a fair gauge of the actual talent that your typical English manager possesses.

Pepe the Horseman Not got much hope, it'll probably be Avram Grant and the end of the world as we know it.

Avram Grant got to the Champions League final!

I'd like the Thais to resign, Madejski to take control, and give McDermott a long contract that makes it very hard to sack him.

My usual choice for "next manager" is Eamonn Dolan, but he never seemed too keen on it and his health issues will make it impossible. I don't think Kuhl or Dodds have the nous for it and I certainly wouldn't be considering Steven Reid.

Rodgers is now at Celtic (his fourth consecutive "dream job") which rules him out.

I almost expect Warnock but that would send me off the edge. Pearson and Parkinson would be laughable choices and the time isn't right for Brynjar or Murty.

My pick? Adrian Viveash. U21 manager at Chelsea, and former Reading player.

Frankly I don't really think it makes a difference, because they'll eventually lose a match and get sacked.

Warnock. Good Manager at this level, will add nastiness that we need, and the meldown will be amazing.

If we're fast-tracking a load of kids then the best man for the job is Martin Kuhl!

Not sure it matters. As they'll be lucky to last a year.............

Pretty predictable that results wouldn't be satisfactory. Too many good teams above us already.

TFF OP - who the fcuk is Jap Stamm?

He's a good friend of Harry Rednapp, Brynyar Gunnarson, and Manuel Pelligrini. He'd fit in well with previous Reading managers like Brendan Rogers, Nigel Atkins, and Steve Clark.

Has to be Dennis Bergkamp shirley, hence the reason we scrapped our trip to Slovenia yesterday and his absolute no flying policy.
