I have a small link to Plymouth and always keep an eye out for their results so will be hoping for them to win today. All 35,000 tickets sold and they are having themselves a party around Wembley

Thank you Barnsley.
Did a yankee back in February on:-
Oxford promotion
Grimsby promotion
Barnsley promotion
Sunderland relegation.

The Barnsley result has paid for this year's holiday and if Big Sam hadn't done the business with Sunderland that would have been a few more holidays paid for, but I' not a greedy man.

BTW Frecklington at Barnsley got them from the bottom to 6th over a 6-month period so add him to the list of those that succeeded where Brian failed using mainly the same players that they inherited (Neil Warnock and Lee Johnson are 2 others but there may be more).

3 wimbledon players arguing over who takes the penalty and then only one 1 team mate appeared to rush over to celebrate Akinfenwa putting it away while he took his shirt off to advertise his clothing label.

'grats Wimbledon

Just 14 years ago their first season, pretty much playing park teams.....think they even squeezed in a game at Scours Lane once

now just a league below N'cassel, Villa and the mighty Royals

I think they've been keen to drop the Dons for a while - they want MK City, but there's a local team of that name who are not giving up the title.

They continue to refer to themselves as a city despite the fact they're not. (At least Reading realised their error in that respect and backed off.)

My ex girlfriend from MK always used to refer to it as a city. "Going into the city". That's why I dumped her actually. That and she was fuking mental

57,000 at Wembley today - our football and supporters in this country really are the best. Fantastic effort.

More Wimbledon fans there today when I was in their end for the cup final!!

With the likes of Plymouth and Portsmouth STILL languishing in professional games lowest tier...it really is a wake-up call to some of the smug players/fans/teams that see relegation as an opportunity to regroup and come back stronger.

Certainly the lesson from those two is that administration has to be avoided - and that means being run in a secure financial manner first and foremost.

Has anyone heard whether Leicester are going to use a tiny fraction of the money they now have to repay the numerous people they cheated when they went into administration ?
They will obviously claim it was a different Leicester.....

There are plenty of examples of for both eventualities. Sometimes it can end up being a positive, sometimes its a step in a longer decline.
