My sources are telling me it will either be Jaap Stam, or it won't.

With the Thai's in charge I'm worried they might not get the joke when some kid send their Football Manager CV in and they might end up offering them the job

But then we lose Martin Kuhl / Eamon Dolan / whoever in 5 months time when they get sacked. Better to keep them doing the job they're good at.

I'd have been accepting of the decision to sack McDermott if he was replaced immediately. The fact it's taking so long is fast becoming clear that it was knee jerk or that Stam talks have broken down.

No Fixed Abode
Maneki Neko Give Dave the job

Apart from Dave who do you want to get the job?

dunno.lol

mcarthy or pearson maybe....
warnock :o
though I detest them all, they have track records.

Sherwood or Monk from the less experienced ones on the odds list.
though I don't like them either, and think their reputations were built on other peoples teams

^^^those are the ones who I think we could have a chance of getting anyway

if its anyone, then guardiola or mourinho

none of em are filling me with excitement tbf

elrey Jaap Stam, why would you appoint some guy who's never been a manager if you are desperate to get to the premier league?

Surely they should appoint a Spanish coach, they're used to being fired after 6 months to a year.

Cheap option, worked at one of the best academy's in the world, no nonsense player ? ..

The Watford fans thought he was useless after new year, tactically inept, they're not sad to see him go.

turning our nose up at a champions league finalist manager seems weird, but hes not done well at any struggling club hes been at over here.
would love zola too, but cant see us attracting him currently

Maybe we are currently engaged in delicate and protracted negotiations with a Carlos Carvalhal-type...with no experience of English/Championship footy and totally unaware of the so-called RFC 'identity and ethos' (seemingly seen as a requirement by some )

I don't think Zola would work for the owners plus he'd want control of signings with his connections ...
