Long shot I know, but if anyone knows of any spares for the England - Wales game then please PM me. Good money waiting for multiple tickets.

AirFrance on strike from 11 to 14 June if anyone is using them to get to games be warned.

National strike day on the 14th is still going ahead, which will affect all forms of transport, throughout France.

I've been living in paris for the past 6 months and will be going to the Irish national team training on Thursday. Will finally get to meet Shane Long. Anything I should ask Quinn about the state of affairs at Reading?

If we left the EU we wouldn't have to put up with these French strikes!

Maybe France wasn't the best choice of venue for this tournament?

Thankfully it's not a full strike though, so things shouldn't be too bad in reality.

Wow, how typically French... they have a National Holiday to celebrate how much they strike.

Portugal 7-0 Estonia. It's only Estonia etc but apparently they were very good, Quaresma in particular getting rave reviews. I don't remember the last time Portugal went into a tournament without looking too heavy on wingers and too light on forwards but if they play 4-3-.3 with Ronaldo, Eder & Quaresma up front they could really do some damage.

Just back from the reception at the team hotel.. Got a few selfies with Quinn and Long. Had a 2 minute conversation with Roy Keane who was lovely but probably because I led with the line "Hi Roy, I'm from Cork its a pleasure to meet you"

Spoke to Quinn for 4-5 minutes about the club. He said he thought Steve Clarke was doing a great job and thought he was the right man for us. Said hopefully next season will be a bit better and spoke about his disappointment to have gotten an injury at such a crucial time. Tellingly he didnt bring up Brian once which considering he just got sacked could indicate the players werent entirely confident in Brian? (could also mean a lot of other things)

Anyway the Boys in Green looked sharp in training and I'm looking forward to the tournament.

Or were you asking how i find living in Paris?

In that format, you had 6 games. 3 group, QF, SF, F. Wouldn't expect any more than 5, really.

3 seems low - was that the Spain deciding strikers were over-rated tournament?
