Alli, Dier and Walker were the positives from that lot. Lallana is talented but no final product. Ditto Sterling unfortunately. Kane obviously deserves another go.

England's name being dragged through the mud off the pitch. Shite press blaming foreigners, obvs.

Sterling should be dropped. No end product and for someone of pace, he kept checking back and then holding up the attack, Rest of midfield/attack did pretty well and full backs as well. We look dodgy at the back.

England carry on their record of never winning the opening game of the Euros, also I hope we smash Wales and top the group, I follow Robbie Savage on Twitter and he's being an insufferable twat right now.

Euro 96, disappointing 1-1 draw in the first game, home nation in the second game...

Most important thing is we didn't lose. A point is a good start. How we started in '66, '90, '96 and '02......

With 4 of the 3rd place teams going through, England would have to surpass themselves not to go through.

Wales just need a draw from either game.

Draw with Wales and win the last game, job done. Although I'd obviously like to see us wipe the smug smile off of Robbie Savage's face....

Walker has been a revelation of late.

If he didn't get MOTM it's a travesty I tell ya, a travesty.

3rd place should mean either Germany or Spain in Round 2 though, so not ideal. Saw enough last night to suggest 2 wins in the next 2 games is more than possible. Wales game will be an FA Cup game though, so very hard to predict

Thought Wales looked OK against a poor Slovakian side. England and Wales should be 1 and 2 in the group just a matter of order from here.

Great display from Walker - MotM defo IMHO.

I thought Lallana worked his nuts off, too, but what was Mr Consistency Milner doing to not close down the chappy before he got the cross in for Ruskies goal?

Its was a decent performance and nothing less than I expected. We will qualify, what place I don't know. Lallana really impressed me, as did Alli.

I must say (even though it has been 2 days) I am enjoying the games a lot more than I did the WC. The opening game compared to Brazil v Mexico was so much better. Seeing teams like Wales, Romania and even Albania perform the way they did is refreshing. I cannot wait to see Iceland play. It is refreshing to see teams challenging like this and how even it seems.

Also I missed the Russian goal and didn't even know we drew until 1 a.m this morning. Some utter nob let of a flare inside walkabout 2 minutes before the 90 so we all got evacuated. English fans eh..

It was absolutely mental in there, compounded by the flare. Then everyone was outside celebrating for ages afterwards unaware!

Its was good. I was in Wild Lime before and it was like a library compared to it. It was fun until this bouncer startEd going mental outside and smashing bottles on tables and shoving people away, causing more anger.

The atmosphere was awesome!

Probably because he's Mr Consistently crap, head down running, technically limited, plodded.

My son was in Marseille in the end that got charged by the Russians. Thankfully he's ok, reports of transport chaos afterwards as they shut down the metro, trains and buses. He managed to finally get a train at 2am.
