STAR Base is a great name if you are a 1970's Sci Fan, don't you remember Space 1999?

Yes, I think it was but STAR Base evokes the same kind of nostalgia.

As a response to our letter to the owners last month there has been a meeting between Tiger, who seems to be getting a grip of things, and STAR representatives and other fans.

There is a report of the meeting on TTE. Overall we were encouraged and have the sense of a fresh start being made.

Sebastian Star, why was HNA excluded from this meeting? Why did you use TTE instead of the more reasoned, considered posters on HNA? Seems quite discriminatory to me.
Dave_Royal was allegedly invited but already had tickets for the Opera.

The club actually did the inviting and randomly picked anyone with a season ticket in Y25, as no where else in the ground matters, only Y25 houses proper fans apparently.

The club have also announced that as from next season we will be known as "THE Y25 ROYALS", the stadium will be known as "THE Y25 BOWL" and the club have been given football league permission to give every player the squad number Y25

All the other stands will be named Y25, including the away stands to help build a bond with the opposition. Lady Sassima will be releasing a Y25 anthem later in the season on the 25th of a month ending with Y (for supersition reasons), Furthermore, In an attempt to rebuild bridges with the club following the Anton saga, Putin will be sending a fleet of Y25 interceptors over on a flypast once they can find enough spare parts to get them flying again.
Meanwhile, over on the team board the favorite chant next season looks like it will be a version of YMCA by the Village People with the lyrics changed to Y25 (clever that).
A committee is also being setup by STAR to organise a season of celebrations with rumblestixs and banners when Y25 reaches Year 25.

Young man, there's no need to feel down.
I said, young man, make your way to the ground.
I said, young man, you're in good company
Cos the rest of us are ugly

Young man, there's a place you come.
I said, young man, you can bring your mum
She can watch us, and I'm sure we will find
Many ways to have a good time.

It's fun to stand in Y25
It's fun to stand in Y25

We have everything for you men to enjoy,
You can hang out with the young boys...

It's fun to stand/sit in Y25
It's fun to stand/sit in Y25

Crux
STAR Liaison To the OP, we can confirm we have attempted to make contact with the owners but this is not as easy as in the days of SJM. Not so many influential people in the country last week.

The OP might be unaware of the statement we made on BM sacking which is on the STAR forum here or our website.

Would you agree that STAR is now a it out dated and actually holds very little real weight in the grand scheme of things.

What actually is the point of STAR - The club don't seem to respect you.

There is an interesting, if long, piece on the Tilehurst End by STAR that contradicts this view.
