Well after Slovakia guess what will happen. Yes 120 minutes trying to score v Iceland using our unique one dimensional tactics and then penalties.

Get in there Iceland.

Good luck to them in the next round.

Anyone know who they're going to play?

agree, pretty much four teams involved in getting to the knock-outs right up until the last kick.

Confusing but " interesting"

It's about the only time in any of the groups it's made it more exciting to be honest.

And in fact it would've been more exciting if it was the regular format as Portugal would've been knocked out

cannot disagree with the Portugal comment.

However, having teams outside of your group influencing your fate has a certain charm

Makes you wonder just how underrated they are.
As bad as the dutch were they still must have had a pretty decent team.

tbh, and before we celebrate England's passage through to the last eight, (a slightly different scenario...I know) but Iceland coped with Portugal and their strike-force.

Capable of busting through decent defences on the break......a keeper worthy of "player of the tournament" thus far

Could be a brave man that puts all his money on an England win???

Watching Belgium v Sweden

Very open, loads of chances.

Belgium's kit tonight is the best in the tournament by a mile.

Iceland just make themselves very difficult to beat. Add to that pace, excellent team spirit and a couple of very good players and you have a team that you need to bring your A game to get the better of.

It's quite simple really.
