That home kit is pretty special.

The other two are weird, but at least distinctive.

Very slow news day at the club. Megastore shut for restocking. Drum roll for the kit announcement...

So much money would be made by the club if they changed kit supplier, I really don't understand the loyalty. The home kit will basically be the same as last years Puma kit. But with a collar? Whoopdeedoo. The title is ours.

Be interesting to see the away offering; with the reports of a bright away kit, I do hope it's not f*cking dreadful

Will you be purchasing either royalp-we?

What's your opinion on the training range?

The training range is pretty decent quality. I bought a polo this year and it's stood the test of our 5 a side campaign.

I don't plan on buying either tbh, unless the away kit is decent; i'd like to see the club rake some money in by changing supplier. I may purchase another replica home shirt if we were to change supplier. I'm sure others share the same viewpoint that there's not really much point anymore. I'm also getting a bit old now

They renewed the Puma contract last year didn't they? So either they don't listen or don't care

...or a financially beneficial deal for the club with a longstanding partner outweighs a bunch of internet mongs.

Royal-we, your deleted post was good. Hats off to it. It's probably where my comment came from, and TBF, talking about a business element of the club is preferable to polarised discussions about how X is the best/worst player who ever lived

Why does everyone care so much about what kit we'll have next season and when it will be released?

You have other clothes don't you? Or are you all 10 and have a birthday party to go to coming up?

Why do you care if people do care?

That home kit is pretty much perfect in all honesty. Also like the red/burgundy one.

Why is it that the club always wait to get the kit out? It's just crap business really

They never say anything about it though, if they wanted us to be excited they'd introduce some sort of hype culture. Although TBF the lack of information and the speculation is always fairly exciting. But if they start selling the kit earlier they'll sell more, and it'll last longer.

I think it really depends on your body shape as to whether or not you like/care about the kit manufacturer. The 2009 one had massive square sleeves but now I've bulked out a bit they're quite a good fit.

How did you work that one out? It's not as if the delay now is eating into a small window of time, the kit will be on sale for roughly 9 months, meaning anyone who wants one will get one.

Exactly. The club obviously know what number of shirts they sell in average season. How many in the first month of launch, what to expect (approx) in sales at Christmas...then those that wait for the end of season sales.

I'm sure this all contributes to why they choose to release the kit in the way they do and not opt for the big launch via the last home game of the season etc.

A good kit design helps, but ultimately, success on the pitch is better than any marketing strategy.
