Can we say HRK is a Reading player?

A goal and an assist. Unbelievable

I can imagine that having seen HRK's goal, Jaap might be wondering why the hell we let him go. I can just see him on the phone to Tiger right now, demanding that we get him back before he signs for anyone else!

Not quite 88. For some reason he morphs into a different player when he's wearing the shirt of the dragon. Even Tiger will have noticed that little nugget.

We didnt let him go as such, he decided he wouldnt renew his deal (and who can blame him) so there was little point in talking.

Just checking in to see what utter bollocks Ian Royal is going to write now about Gunter.

What a player. Mr consistent. Great game tonight, his 65th of the season.

Can't even bring myself to speak about Kanu lol

tidus_mi2 BBC showed a list of which academies England and Wales players came from, gave HRK to Arsenal, do they claim greater responsibility for his development or do we?

That is absolutely ridiculous, believe he was 15 when he left Arsenal. His success is largely down to his own hard work, Eamonn Dolan and Martin Kuhl. And what a fantastic way to celebrate Eamonn's life and contribution to RFC.

As you asked so nicely.

Played as a wing back with less defensive duties mitigating his weak defending. Three decent defendera behind him. Playing further up the pitch taking away his relentless caution and negativity. Playing for his country in a major tournament so more determined and prepared to put himself on the line, literally a once in a lifetime opportunity. Playing with Bale and Ramsey so little pressure on him to produce going forward. Perfect circumstances for Mr Average.

No one has ever ever questioned his fitness either.

Getting to Euro semi changes nothing about him over the last four seasons. Well except it raises the chances some mug will pay 7 figures for him.

Well done Gunts, lovely chap having the time of his life.

Dreary me!

A solid championship right back excelling even further on the international stage which clearly Reading will benefit from with his improved play.

You are utterly dillusional.

I don't have a problem with them laughing at us. Let's face it the rest of the world has been doing for the last 50 years.

Yep. But truth be told I saw this form from HRK during our various FA Cup runs, where he was often unplayable. He seems to excel in tournaments and underwhelm the rest of the time...

Craig Burley on ESPN about HRK's goal: "He sent them for a pie and a coffee..." :D

If ever a team showed that they were greater than the sum of their parts, it was Wales. Wonderful stuff and delighted for HRK and Gunts, who were both magnificent.

I really let myself down last night. I supported Wales. I cheered and clapped like some cheap taffy prick.

I'm so ashamed! Never drinking again!

I've still not got over Gunter blocking me on twatter for virtually nothing.

I believe he has blocked numerous others.

lol at some of the 'support' for one of our own on here and social media
well played gunter, you've never given anything less than your all for the club
well played HRK, you've been inconsistent throughout, but not for the want of trying imo
