Good signing. Money doesn't matter anymore, and he looked to have something exciting in the ten minutes I saw of him.

From Despair To Where?

Kuhl_Runnings Ritchie and Gayle cost £25m combined! So much for financial fair play

When they have 0000000000's coming in from Parachute Payments, £13.5m coming in for Andros Townsend, and the £25m is being spread over the life of the contract, it's actually very much within the laws of FFP.

Having an average attendance almost double our stadium's capacity probably helps as well.

Ah right I'm a div

United potentially about to break the world transfer record for a player they let leave on a free a few years ago...

£16 million for Musa to Leicester, so Ibe is a bargain.

Transfer fees have doubled this summer?

What a bizarre but lucrative move for these players.

Sounds like saints didn't want to offer him an extension on his 2 years, so I guess a massive payoff for a 31yo makes sense. Reckon Saints got short-changed though.

But LOL at the money for Hulk

A reported wage increase for Pelle from £1.7M per year to £13M a year putting him in the top 10 highest paid players in the world.

Lol indeed!
Daily Mail says he will be the 5th highest paid player in the world, behind the 'big three' and Hulk.
Absolutely mental money in the Chinese league.

Haven't got the full list, but interestingly*, Bale isn't in the top 10.

BBC Article Colin Doyle: Blackpool goalkeeper joins Bradford City for £1 fee

League One side Bradford have signed Blackpool goalkeeper Colin Doyle for a fee of just £1 after meeting a release clause in his contract.

Doyle made 35 appearances for Blackpool last season but could not help them avoid relegation to League Two.

The 31-year-old, who has signed a two-year deal, joined Blackpool in June 2015 after 12 seasons at Birmingham.

He is Bradford's third signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Nicky Law and Nathaniel Knight-Percival.

Interesting* to note that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is worth £1 less than Colin Doyle.

Barcelona very much going French as they revamp their back line. Following Samuel Umtiti's signing, they've now got Lucas Digne, from PSG, too.
