royalp-we Stam confirms to CW that everyone at the club wanted him to stay but Tschibola had set his mind on leaving.

Looking like a great bit of business imo.

Bullshit, They saw the money on offer and their eyes lit up. They just need to say things like that so they can defend their "building on youth" statements.

Quite frankly, who can blame them? We need the money.

Bit strong  - Tshibola has said nothing over recent weeks and I bet he couldn't wait to join them. They've negotiated the best price once the player said he felt his career lay else where earlier in the summer.

He was a great talent, for the 8(+8) games we managed to see him in the championship. £5m is a great bit of business at a time where we really do need some money. Now able to be mentored by another CM in di matteo. Good luck to him,

He'll be at a big Prem club by the start of next season anyway.

Hopefully includes a sell on. Gutted to lose him, but good money considering the amount of games he's played for us.

Think you are wrong there. In just the few games he played it wasn't potential we were looking at but a finished article almost. Could have built the midfield around him for the next 5 years. Amazing young player whose £5m price tag will look embarrassing for us over the next few years. Shame on the Thais for not investing in him by offering him a great contract

I for one am NOT gutted to lose Tish (if we got 5Million)

Yes, he's a very promising player, but hell, there are lots of very good midfielders available for a lot less than 5M and we have plenty already.

IMO it's a really great deal for RFC

It's a business, too and this represents good business

We survived Doyle going, Gylfi going, Shane going.

Who changed the title of this thread? If anyone is to change it should have the person who started it, and that is ME. Please rename it to "Tishiloba is leaving us."

A bit disappointed about this one but can understand why the player and the club wanted it to happen.
When I renewed my season ticket I thought "at least we have still got Tish"
Now I am thinking "at least we have still got Norwood".
I hope to carry on thinking that way for this upcoming season.

A season at Hartlepool and a sprinkling of games here and wants out... Yep so do we too!!

£5 mill plus and another negative influence out the camp under our new revolution!!

Be more gutted if Fosu went to be honest.

again, career progression, Villa are the bigger team and with a better pedigree, and with more players that have "made it" on the big stage.........who wouldn't want to leave Reading for that?

If Fosu put a run of games together they'd sell him too coz that's what we do to survive without investment ..
