Leganes fan here, just because they are the relatively small club, in the third tier just two seasons ago and have never played in La Liga.

Winston Smith Still 3 matches left to go in the Spanish Segunda division and things are looking quite interesting

points and teams:

1. 68 Alaves
2. 65 Leganes
-------------------------
3. 64 Gimnastic
4. 61 Osasuna
5. 60 Zaragoza
6. 59 Oviedo
---------------------------
7. 59 Girona
8. 58 Alcorcon
9. 58 Cordoba

Oviedo home to Leganes this thursday. A win for Oviedo could leave 6 teams fighting for the 2nd automatic spot with 2 games left.

Last season went down to last day aswell. I think Las Palmas won 2nd place on last day as Gimnastic lost in last minute

Always looked out for Zaragoza's results since the 1995 cup winner cup.

I had rarely seen foreign club teams play up until that night and I have a very clear memory of watching the match in my bedroom thinking the players names all sounded so exotic. The place has 2 Z's in it's name ffs, what kind of place has that!? mental

Leganes finish 2nd and are up.

Zaragoza let 6 goals in against an already relegated team and drop to 8th. Lol

Suning Commerce Group to buy 70% of Inter Milan for €270M. These are the same people who spent a load of cash on Ramires and Teixeira for their Chinese club.

Not a league game, but CL qualifier.....Celtic (and Mr Rogers) might just be playing Lincoln Red Imps in their qualifier....imagine the mighty Celtic coming to Gibraltar....the 5000 seat Victoria Stadium would be a fun place to be I guess....

44,000 season tickets sold this time last year at Galatasarasy, 1600 sold as of right now. Huge protests going on in Turkey at many clubs over corruption.

Think I read somewhere recently that 54,918 out of 55,000 Borussia Dortmund season ticket holders have renewed. The remaining 82 are 'thinking about it'.

So, this is tonight. I think Celtic might struggle to a narrow win, 1 or 2 nil. Hoping for an upset though!

I have tickets for this!

Met Brendan last night- he was very nice, had a bit of a laugh, and he liked my dog.

Fear not though, Rodgers says they've no need to be embarrassed about arguably the biggest upset in the history of European football

TBF, it was still about 30C pitch side last night, and bloody humid....and I think they were a bit spooked when the Bristol flight landed- the runway is next to the pitch.

I went with some Scottish friends, and let's just say they were somewhat enjoying Celtic being humiliated!

It's alright, Celtic will dish out the hammering on their own turf in the return leg.

Right?
