Let's hope Sad Sam has talks with players outside of the Premiership

Getting a bit fed-up of England managers changing formations, line-ups etc just to accomadate the prima-donna premiership tv favourites.

What potential England players are there playing outside of the Premiership then?! Ravel Morrison perhaps?

classy ...as always

Anyways....When you have the likes of Rotherham cast-offs beating your team full of Premiership talent, there is always a case to dig deeper.

I'm pretty sure there's a reason England internationals are generally playing in the top division, although fat Sam is arguably mad enough to deliberately pick worse available players

Yeah, we don't really want to qualify for the Finals anyway.

At least Sam can be scary.

Keegan, Hoddle, Sven, McClaren, Hodgson, Taylor... not much fear factor in them.

I WANT our players to be scared of the manager.

Have you met the bloke?
He's Oxfording huge in every direction. I crossed paths with him a couple of years ago using a walkway between a car park and a terminal at Heathrow. The walkway was wide enough for 3 people at least. So I'm walking in one direction and he's coming the other way with what looked like two minders. Or they would have looked like minders next to any normal person. Next to Fat Sam they looked small. The bloke has his own gravitational pull. I ended up having to stand to the size as he lumbered past like some massive elephant. I think he was fairly tall as well. But he is so wide. I decided to keep my views of his managerial abilities (or lack of) to myself on that occasion.

Maybe he's lost some weight
Or maybe he was still digesting a rhino when I bumped into him

So Allardyce and Bruce are the front-runners? definitely a case for not insisting on an Englishman

Both are decent managers if you like that kind of football I guess. I'm guilty of hating the cult of 'Big Sam' but he's probably underestimated as a manager given what he's had to work with. That said he didn't he did come third in a one team race when Brian showed him to get promoted. More relegations than trophies between them?

If Big Sam does get in, at least England won't get relegated
