Tommio He signed a new contract after all the rumours died down, think he's going to be staying with the Galaxy. However I watch a fair amount of the MLS and there are far better players we should be looking at with much better scoring records. Cyle Larin is in his second pro season and has scored 12 goals I think and is 4th or 3rd top scorer. He broke the record for the most goals scored by a rookie last season. He's got a great first touch, really strong and great in the air. He's the one we should be going for.

Is Larin fast?

He's not fast, but he's certainly not slow considering his build.

He looks solid, can see him being clumsy at times but he can certainly strike a ball

Very good player, only 21 as well.

Larin looks a decent player. Some of the defending left something to be desired but from that clip, he can score with left foot, right foot, with his head, inside the box, outside the box, running onto through balls, getting into good positions around the 6yd box. An all round striker by the looks of it.

Even more impressive considering it's a season highlight reel and not selected highlights across a whole career.

He's currently in his second season, most of those goals were from his first and only season, so it's his whole career

Got to say, he looks class! Some of the finishes are brilliant, I especially like the one off his chest!

Sign him up! :D

Marc Wilson has been made available at Stoke, he will be fairly cheap and very versatile, can play left back, centre back or holding midfield, would be a solid signing

I think we've done some decent business this summer, whilst spending in a Madejski-esque way.

Swift and Harriott are really good signings from what they've shown so far in their careers and at that young age they will only get better. Beerens and VDB could be pretty shrewd as well and I'm pleased we secured Meite.

Mendes is the only one that puzzled me, not writing him off but surely we could have got someone with a better record of less than a goal every five games in the French second tier? Its probably about League Two level, and I'd rather we'd have got someone in with a proven record in League Two for instance.

Anyway I agree we need a starting XI centre half and striker, plus some cover in the full back positions. I hope we can get Moore for CB, on paper that would be a great signing.

I'm trusting that Stam has a good idea for the striker too, Larin appears to be a genuine goalscorer which is what we need so that would be another good move by the look of it. Another young player with bags of potential and at even 21 he's already proved himself to some extent.

Get these deals over the line and we should do better than most are expecting this season.

.

You realise he played on the left wing for 75% of games last year before finishing the season up front?

To be honest, what started off as a decent summer for deals is turning into a bit of deja by from last summer, some decent players in but not enough in the areas that most need strengthening. Still, 2 weeks to go but I'm beginning to get nervous.

Centre back : we want Moore and are willing to wait for Leicester and the player to sort out their differences. Just hope we have others to go to on deadline day if it becomes obvious Leicester are happy to wreck Moore's season

We do not appear concerned by the full back situation going by rumours as there is nothing current and hasnt been for weeks so either the club are managing to do a "Meite" and keep something away from the media completely while they sort a deal out or they really think having just two senior full backs ( one of whom could leave at any moment) plus a promising youngster is a smart way to get through a season.

realy like beerens, like VDB, but not at CB
the rest are looking average at best
just oxf*rd buy a proper striker and CB, get some cover at FB and stop oxf*rd around with midfielders and wingers

One of the most important posts of this season.
(I also love how Leicester is considered north. (it is).)
