Kermorgant - two shots both off target. Our sole striker should be hitting the target, at least.

Listening to the match on radio sussex. Commenters slating McShane as a non footballer just hoofing the ball but also saying Reading are making difficult work of it for BHA and having not troubled our keeper. Frustrated we not allowing their team to play their flowing game. Frustrated their team haven't got in behind us yet.

Come Reading, make it count.

Oilroyal We should defend the point bring Cooper on and push JVB in front of the back 4.

No, we shouldn't.

Just think Kerm off and Cooper on with us defending the point and looking for a winner from wingers/midfield.

Each to their own.

Best form of defence is attacking and scoring another goal. We've spent three seasons relaxing, sitting back and getting smashed.

As it stands:
If we concede, we go 2nd bottom.
If we score, we go 11th.

bizarre.

+1. If we sit back and invite pressure, with how error prone our defense is, its only a matter of time until we concede.

A new striker needed desperately then.. Sussex Radio saying they'll well under the cosh. I'd still settle for a point from this

We sound much better and by all account Brighton are there for the taking and we should have added to our lead. Will be a tougher test in the second half, can see a Chris Houghton side really coming out for it.

That was a pretty decent first half performance. Mendes should be playing though

Mendes has more pace so might be a good introduction after 65mins to run at some tiring Brighton defenders

We do sound the better team and refreshing to listen to commentary from the visiting team other than listening to Mick and Dim. Sussex radio seem well perplexed that they're not 3 up against a downbeat team like Reading. Tossers!

I resisted the urge to say "I can see Brighton coming out and scoring within 5 minutes after half time". Didn't bother in case I jynxed it.
