Pepe the Horseman Dellor had a mare on twitter last night. Posting a link to the article from 2013 when we nearly signed Mohamed Sissoko, and saying that (Moussa) Sissoko must be gutted that he didn't end up joining Reading.

No no he was "just messing" - it was some light hearted "banter"

Sorry Tim/BBC Berks, don't get the logic of you interrupting weekday radio schedules for live commentary of midweek pre season friendlies yet on a Saturday persisting with an afternoon of pointless waffle and music in a scheduled sports programme while Reading play a pre season friendly.

Think that your "pre-season friendly" (glorified kick-about) line, justifies this.

When the real real games start, I'm sure it will be back to their first class coverage.

Yes, Berks seem to be obsessed with rowing for some reason (presumably because Henley is nearby although Henley technically "belongs" to BBC Oxford) and so because one or two rowers live in the area they seem to think that justifies it all despite the fact that the rowing is being covered live also on BBC 5 live and the TV. Really got annoyed with them on Saturday when they curtailed the post match chat on Saturday for 25 minutes of pointless yak reviewing how well the rowers had done at the Olympics thus meaning no interviews explaining the debacle with Jaap or players.

Somebody WANTS to hear the post match chat where they regurgitate the comments they've made during the game, get complete twats to phone in with their inane stupidity based entirely on radio commentary and read tweets sent from a bunch of utter fools... all presented by Adi Williams?

Literally will only listen to the post match BBC Berks stuff for and player interviews and Stam's comments. Even if the questions are monumentally cringe worthy sometimes.

Imagine if the Team Board were interviewed after a game - it would be like a Rain Man convention.

After the game yesterday, in the post match stuff, BBC Berks played the match highlights two or three times. I'm sure I heard on one of those occasions that the second goal we scored yesterday was missed out and replaced by Beerens' goal v Bristol City.

Listening to BBCRB before the PNE game on Saturday, I was really surprised by Tim Dellor's reaction to Barnsley's win. "Our fate is no longer in our own hands!" Complete tosh. Your fate is no longer in your own hands when, even if you win all your remaining games, you are relying on other results to go your way. And, even if Barnsley do win their game in hand (and one or two others), we are probably not the club that will drop into the bottom 3. We certainly aren't safe yet, but describing Barnsley's win as a "hammer blow" to Reading's survival was completely unnecessary.

That’s not what he said. He said it was a bad result away from being as good as out of the club’s hands. All put a bit tabloidy of course but then that’s what the media is like these days, if they’re not being sensationalist then it’s toeing whatever “party” line is being fed to it.

I dislike Sone Aluko as much as anyone but Dellor really has a vendetta against him, he blames him for everything and anything. It is reasonably funny actually.

Think it stems from a post match interview where Aluko dismissed everything Tim said.

Fair play to their passion...twas great listening

I’m sure that some here will whinge and whine about it

Dellor is such a pussy. Full of it on air but when faced with Clement he cannot ask the tough questions. Such a two faced weasel.

Dellor also needs to get his facts right. Before our game on Wednesday he made reference to four of our points coming away from home. Williams corrected that. You would have thought Dellor would remember we had lost our first three home League games prior to Norwich.

Williams has improved. When he just focuses on Reading he is decent. His general presenting belongs to the dark ages though especially when he refers to the “lovely” Rita. It’s 2018 Adie.
