Regarding tonights potential bets, we have got a few possibilities:

Celta Vigo V Leganes

Celta: 1.6
Draw: 3.8
Leganes: 6.5

Valencia V Las Palmas

Valencia: 1.72
Draw: 3.8
Las Palmas: 5

In Spain's Segunda division there is Real Zaragoza Vs UCAM Murcia CF

Zaragoza 1.85
Draw: 3.3
Murcia 4.5

Anyone have any idea how these games are going to go? The one I would fancy the most here is Zaragoza at 1.85. I expect that they will be promotion contenders this year because I've heard about them in the past being in the Primeira Liga. I'm sure they played Arsenal once in Europe. And also they have two Z's in the name so must be quite good. Murcia is a place in the sun where Brits can buy holiday villas. Maybe not the best soccer team. With home advantage and promotion being the aim, surely Zaragoza are going to win this?

So... you've got no idea how these games are gonna go, yet they are on your potential bet list.... I don't feel as though you are taking in any of what has been said by people on this thread.. If you are keen (nee. desperate) to bet for fun, then by all means crack on, but you seem to be kidding yourself into betting on stuff based on some 'research' which is worth the sum total of sod all IMO (of course)

You literally CANNOT be serious with this. How can you bet on somebody because "they used to be in Primera Liga"?

Would you bet on Blackpool , Swindon, Oldham etc against Aston Villa or Derby etc?

You cannot bet on a team because you are sure they played Arsenal once, I am 100% sure you are a troll.

If I were to look at betting now on tomorrow nights games, and were looking for good odds I would possibly consider Exeter to hold Hull, Posh to hold Swansea, maybe Luton to beat Leeds....
At about 40/1....but I would probably go with a Patent of 7 x £1 bets- if any one of them come in, I'd get at least £3 back, so minimal losses, if they all came in I'd be looking at about £77 back....not a bad return for little risk.

That's not a bad idea actually. Hull have only 13 pros available don't they? Is that right? They won't want to take risks with their team. Surely they will play their kids? Or maybe Hull can only play these 13, but they would treat it like a friendy wouldn't they. Premier league is very important for Hull. You could even back an Exeter win there.

I was kidding a little bit with Zaragoza. I'm sure they did well last season in the Segunda. They were close but didn't quite make it. Osasuna went up.

TF, the question isn't whether you think Zaragoza will beat Murcia, its whether you consider the price 1.85 to be good value.

Or, again, why are you so desperate to bet that you are looking at Segunda Division?

This.

The only 2nd division I would even consider betting on is The Championship.

It's not about being desperate to bet. It is about looking for opportunities. Where the price of risk is favourable. I'm just looking at what's out there. Yesterday, I could have bet on a whole load of games, but I didn't bet on anything. I am not desperate to bet. I am looking for good opportunities.

It's probably a bit early in the season to bet on Spain's Segunda division.

Every game can be assessed can't it? Valencia's price tonight looks too short in my opinion. They were dodgy last season. Las Palmas surprised a lot of teams last year and at 5's probably look better value.

But I think that game will end in a draw. Unless Las Palmas have lost players over the summer that I don't know about.

3.8 for the draw I think is good value. But, I probably won't bet on it. I will watch La Liga for a few weeks and re-familiarize myself with it.

It is always too early to bet on Spanish Segunda division.

Did you bet last night? Are you doing any tonight?

I need some good tips.

I didn't and I'm glad I didn't.

Leganes stunned Celta Vigo and Las Palmas stunned Valencia. Which shows that they were priced too short. Celta Vigo were not worthy of their 1.6 price. Leganes shut them out pretty effectively and nicked the win. They were a great bet at their 6.5. Celta were unlucky though. They had a legitimate goal ruled out for offside when the striker was clearly onside.

Las Palmas were a good bet as well at 5s. I knew Valencia were too dodgy to be backed at 1.72 and Las Palmas were surprising a lot of teams last season in La Liga and getting good results. I didn't think they had enough in them to win away at the Mestalla. But they clearly did.

I'm not too sure about tonight.

If I was going to bet tonight, I possibly fancy Scunthorpe at home to beat Bristol City. Scunthorpe are priced at 2.87 and seem to be flying at the moment. What do you think?

Burton Albion could be the value bet tonight. They are 10s to beat Liverpool. Klopp tends to put out a weak team against lower division opponents in the cups and Burton are no mugs. They have been involved in a few high scoring games already this season. They look like the type of team that plays with passion and aggression. They take the game to their opponents. If Liverpool are not careful they could get hammered. If Liverpool select some talented strikers then they should be alright. But if they don't and they throw in their kids then Burton could punish them.

TF Be serious please, you would not actually bet on them. I am struggling to find some today so can you give me some advice.

Who are you betting on today and why?
