Don't judge on one game though. Samuel looked good on Friday. Until we see him in a run of first team games it's hard to judge how effective he'll be. He has the ability but can he translate that into performing at Championship level ?

Interesting. On the couple of times I saw him play for Gillingham last season he was inconsistent, good the first time, poor the second time. Atm I don't think he's good enough to be starting regularly for us, or maybe even coming off the bench as he has a knack of scoring early goals. I actually wonder whether Bradley Dack made him look better than he is, but I hope i'm wrong on that as I want him to succeed here.

I would definitely prefer him to come into a successful side if and when it happens though. He did seem affected when the Gillingham fans got on his case the 2nd game.
