Team for Ipswich.

by genome » 09 Sep 2016 10:13

I was thinking AAH may not be available as his wife has just given birth, but as it's a home game he could well feature.

I reks:

Jaakola, Gunter, Moore, McShane, Blackett, Van den Berg, Williams, Swift, Beerens, McCleary, Kermorgant

Agree with this! Can't wait to see what VdB does with an extended run in midfield.

I fancy seeing:

Jaakkola;
Gunter, McShane, Moore, Blackett;
Williams, Swift, VDB;
Beerens, Kermorgant, Harriott.

Jaakkola is a better keeper than Al-Habsi, purely based on what I've seen from both so far. I'm hoping the birth of Ali's child means he's given some time off. Can't see it though, especially with Ali knowing Anssi is right behind him...

Also doubt we will see McCleary start, given he's only just back from his international break.

Come on URZ!

Apparently when his wife first handed Ali the child, he dropped it.

It initially looked like he had it but it somehow ended up slipping through his legs. He then somehow managed an amazing double catch on the slippery placenta once the baby had already hit the ground.

Jakkola plays a few games against League 1 & 2 opposition and he's better than Al Habsi. Never change, Team Board, never change.
