Sounded like over-exuberant attempt to protect team-mate (Williams). Ran over to their player who was standing over Williams and pushed him with both hands in the chest/shoulder. His speed caused it to look worse than it was, but either way it was arms raised. Mick & Tim were in no doubt it should have been red.

From what I can gather Williams and Hourihane got into something and McCleary came in and pushed Hourihane to the ground. McCleary saw red and Hourihane yellow for the whole thing.

Sounds harsh. Pushes should be a yellow card to all but the illiterate.
