Nice to see kids getting a game (in earlier rounds) but if we can get through this tie
we might get a Premiership side, so I think I'd rather see mostly the fringe first teamers
getting a game.

Other than giving Jaakola a run-out and Harriot for McCleary I think there's a fair
chance Stam will go for the winning side to maintain momentum.

I think we have benefited from a settled team this season. We've just had an international break with more to come, no need to rest players this early in the season.

While I'm all for giving fringe players a go in the earlier rounds when the manager is new, we know the best 11 now.

They look like another 90 mins playing the Stam way will help them, not hinder them.

And we are 1 win from the last 16 and a possible big tie... go for it.

The ad read '11 clockwork clowns for sale, tel. nnnn nnnnnn' the number of course being Brighton's telephone number, vast quantities of people rang and it was reported in all of the dailies.. This being a fans response to the pathetic time that Brighton had in the top division.

Reading, a big club compared to Brighton, never had that sort of national interest (and derision) during our recent times in the top flight.
