Arsenal (A)

Details for our Tuesday night visit to the Emirates

We can confirm that our EFL Cup Fourth Round trip to face Arsenal at the Emirates will take place on Tuesday 25th October, kicking off under the floodlights in North London at 7.45pm.

An initial allocation of 2,922 has been assigned to Royals fans, with an sizeable additional allocation available to the club depending on demand for tickets from our supporters in the first week of sales.

Tickets prices for our supporters will be as follows:

South End (Clock End) Lower Tier
Adults: £10
Concessions (16 & Under, 65 & Over): £5

Tickets are due to go on sale initially to Season Ticket Holders at 9am on Monday 3rd October - online, in person at the Ticket Office and by calling 0118 968 1313. Any selling criteria details for Member Card holders will be announced in due course.

The prize for the victor is a place in the last eight – for Reading, it would mark the first appearance in the quarter-finals since we moved to Madejski Stadium. Plymouth, MK Dons and Brighton have all been vanquished so far in our cup run… but Arsene Wenger’s men are set to pose the biggest test yet.

The game has not been selected for live broadcast – Sky Sports have chosen to show Manchester United vs Manchester City and Liverpool vs Tottenham as their live games in the EFL Cup Fourth Round.

Well obviously you wait until all 5 are eligible. There aren't enough tickets even in the full allocation for 1 per STH let alone 5 !

Definitely in.
Would people suggest driving and parking near by or would it be better to go by narrow boat via the Thames and the Grand Union Canal ?

We'll get a bigger allocation (could get up to 9,000) - anyone who wants a ticket will get one imo

Bearing in mind that in our three ties to date, the crowd has not exceeded 6k, I cannot envisage a problem for anyone that wants a ticket to travel to North London on a wet soggy Tuesday night to watch Arsenal 2nd 11 play Readings 2nd 11. The fact that we have never beaten Arsenal in the history of the Universe may also come into play, but if you have nothing better to spend your money on, good luck.

If you don't think we will play a strong team then you're on a mad one.
