He said: “I felt like saying '[X], you’ve had more backhanders than Wimbledon, what are you talking about?’ “You know he’s a wheeler and dealer don’t you?... he gambles 20 grand a day, he needs to make money… he’ll be earning three or four million, he still wants 50 grand in cash.”

The manager last night denied taking bungs. Another coach who has managed several British clubs was allegedly sacked by one club after being “caught with his fingers in the till”.

Known for liking a “bung”, according to Mr Pagliara, he said the former manager would get involved with the fake Far Eastern firm “providing that you understand that when we do deals I have to have a carrier bag with some cash”.

The club that sacked the manager last night said he had been dismissed because of poor results on the pitch.

Allardyce & Redknapp would always be a given in these kind of things really. Pulis too I assume. Would be no surprise to see Pardew's name come up I reckon,

I've no doubt that he's one of those who's likely had his hand in the till too, but I think they're saying it's current or recent Premier League Managers so I'm not sure he'd count.

I'd be surprised if most of them haven't taken a bit off the top to be honest. Much like the MPs expenses, it sounds like it's almost standard practice.
