In x4 via online having tried several times by phone and been cut off cos of 'huge volume of calls' - more likely one poor sod taking all calls.

Don't really trust the online because it seems so easy!

CountryRoyal Unless it's Man Citygate all over again.

1/2 a day in to two days of exclusive STH sales...

RFC UPDATE: As of 12pm on Monday 3rd October, sales for this EFL Cup fourth-round fixture away at Arsenal were approaching our initial allocation of 2,922. Therefore we have activated our option for an extended allocation.

Our full and final allocation now stands at 5,306

Can you buy in the Arsenal end anyone know? I can't work out from their site if you need to be a member or not.

It says they are on 'general sale' tomorrow but no idea whether that is really 'general sale' or still only for some tier of member

would just be me and my young son, so home end wouldn't be so bad.

been to Arsenal before in the home end. They really are the most clueless (but harmless) bunch of supporters I've ever met by a distance. Doubt half of them will have even heard of Reading before.

Allocation up to 5300 - is that the max or could we get more?

The Reading website news snippet says ''Our full and final allocation now stands at 5,306''.

IN x 3 for the giggles

Home end for me, a friend is a member at the Arsenal. (Not that they'll probably sell out anyway)

Amazing how many plastic reading/closet arsenal fans come out to watch what will largely be a reserve game in which Reading will get hammered.

Real fans will be going to Portsmouth tomorrow.

PS - what's the best main line/tube stop for the Emirates these days?

Arsenal I think.

To be fair, £10 entry to watch a game at the Emirates - it's no wonder they're popular

Sure the arsenal ends will sell out quickly as well - being half term and the difficulty in getting a ticket there for most matches

4,000 sold and that's just individual ST holders

Given we're entitled to over 9,000 seats, taking just 5,300 seems a bit odd

Yeh as Hound said, London away game and a tenner to get in.

The wider fanbase > the purists. Have fun down in Portsmouth :)

The allocation in the League Cup is up to 10%, but it's 15% in the FA Cup. I'm not sure how corporate seats affect this but we appear to have about 9%.

It's all season ticket holders. No armchair fans and arguably not plastic, depending on your criteria...

Definitely can't level the whole "real fans" thing at them.
