double d oxf*rd hell TF. That is absolutely insanecessary!!!!! Insane and unnecessary at the same time!!!!

Why did you no withdraw your extra funds like I suggested?

I know, it's bad. I was so p*ssed off with myself Sunday night as well. I really wanted to go into the casino at half time and put £300 on red or black. But I stayed calm, I watched the second half and from 3 down Barca nearly came back. If Stegen didn't make a stupid Al Habsi from last season mistake then Barca would have probably drawn level and I would have won the bet. I clawed back money with three winning bets yesterday. I laid Greuther Furth, Santa Cruz and Cremonese with success. I lost £6 on America MG as they didn't get a result at Coritiba. So finished on a much better £383.

Barcelona have lost twice this season and it happened the only two times that I have laid off their opponents. The only time I laid Barcelona, I won. That was against Athletico Madrid. Barcelona have never won when I have been betting on them. I was silly because just like in the Alaves game, Barca rang the changes and without Messi and Iniesta they are quite an ordinary team. They improved a lot when Iniesta came on in the second half. Without him, they were a disorganised mess. I will learn that lesson and remember how poor Barcelona can be without key players in their team.

If Solihull Moors can avoid defeat tonight then I will have got the Barcelona loss out of my system. I'll be back above £400 but still £85 down from where I was before betting on Barcelona, but at least I will be well on track to hit the grand by the end of the season.

I was really happy with my position before the Barca game, but two things made me bet when I shouldn't have. Firstly, I was just £15 away from the psychologically important landmark of £500. Knowing that there wasn't going to be any football on for the next 2 weeks made me want to get to £500 on Sunday night. Secondly, I have started chasing Betfairs points total to get a discount on exchange commissions. That has made me want to increase the volumes of my bets.

Once I have over 1000 points I can start getting discounts on the exchange. That means I need to bet more frequently. I am on 600 points at the moment. But you lose 15% of your points each week. So I need to bet a lot.

Most of the Senior teams are around evens , some odds against. Worth punting there is a big bias to senior teams, even though we've only had 1 round of games.

Luton
Crewe
Newport
Wycombe
Stevenage

pays about 50/1.

TF I'm actually pissed off at you. Just reading that crap you posted genuinely made me angry.

It's alright having a couple bets of a 5ver a week like me, PTR, Sanguine etc and whatever else and discussing it but you go way overboard and don't listen to anything anybody says and do and say stupid things like you have done.

I thought I had a gambling problem until reading about TF's exploits-there is always somebody worse off than you, as they say.

TF......

Watching the Southport game. What on earth were you thinking by putting a bet on them to not lose? They have lost 10 out of 14, won none of their away games and let in 17 goals and scored 4 away. That bet makes literally no sense what you done.

Double D, I laid Southport. It was Solihull that had to avoid defeat not Southport. I won that bet. I also laid Pompey this evening, a Swedish team and a Polish team. All those bets won so I end the night on £438.

The bet I lost was North East Utd against FC Goa. But I only lost £3. It was an experimental bet and didn't really matter.

I need to get back to these types of bets that seem to bring me most success. If I didn't bet on Barcelona I'd be on about £600 now.

Ah okay. I get confused with all this lay and exchange stuff. I don't do it and never have. Apologies for being angry it was my mistake.

It's not necessarily a bad problem to have. It's made me a fair amount of money so far. What is not certain though is if I will continue making money. I still need to cut out the mistakes and control the emotional side of it. Even though I'm trying to tackle it, I still find myself placing the odd reckless bet on Barcelona and risking a quarter of my account on one bet.

But, After losing so much on Barcelona I did control myself and not chase the loss. I made a series of better bets and have recovered a lot of that loss and feel a lot better about it now. Even though I'm still £50 short of my Sunday afternoon position.

Gambling in a disciplined fashion is so hard. Human emotion plays havoc with your strategy.

I'm not addicted. I could quite easily stop tomorrow. But I'm having too much fun at the moment and am on the way to the grand.

I just laid Uzbekistan in their WCQ against Iran tomorrow. I laid £30 to win £14. I believe Iran, managed by Carlos Quieroz and boasting some of Asia's better players will come out of Borat's country with at least a point. They are well organised, difficult to break down and have some decent players that include Sardar who plays for Rostov and Dejagahn once of Fulham.

Why not make it 10 grand, you are well ahead of target... let's increase it.
