Nil nil at half time.

Brisbane looking really strong after the first ten mins. Right now it looks more likely that Roar will edge this game.

I'm liking the look of Cambridge United to get something up at Blackpool this weekend, along with another Guiseley home win v. Solihull Moors to boost the acca...

Why the running commentary?

I'm not a gambling addict. I could stop right now if I wanted to.

paultheroyal Morning all - no French league 2 tonight... What am I going to do!!

I was about to post my Australian A league tip then see Top Flight above!!

Anyway, for those who have a couple of quid in account and want to build funds put it on a Melbourne victory and a BTTS, paying around 4/1. Trust me it would not be them odds in 4 games time!

Paul, I'm not sure Melbourne's odds will be alot shorter in 4 games time. Apart from the opening 10 minutes where Melbourne had a couple of half chances, Brisbane were much better organised and much better going forward than Victory. Even when Brisbane were reduced to ten men they still looked the more likely to win it. Getting forward in numbers and well organised in defence. Victory didn't look like they would be able to score at all in this match. They got very lucky in the end. The game just went in their favour, very fortunate. Brisbane's last ditch equaliser was the least they deserved in the end and Melbourne were just lucky. It was the first game of the season so maybe there'll be more from Victory in the games to come.

Anyway, a good £30 win and the account is up to £520.

Do you have a job TF?

Just wondering how you're managing to keep such a close eye on all these games you're laying into..

Brosef Stalin
Top Flight I've decided to cash out at half time just in case Winston is right and the Iranians have taken money to throw the game in the second half.

My Betfair is now £473.

I'm still £10 short of my position prior to the Barcelona bet gone wrong, but I have made a strong recovery. The Barcelona mistake has set me back a week. But it's alright. Overall, I'm in pretty good shape. This is the second best position my Betfair has been in since I started this challenge.

By the end of September I was supposed to be at £274 to be on track. Just six days in to October, I am on £473. By the end of October my target was £329 and my end of November target was £395. Right now, I am where I was supposed to be at the end of December which is £474. So this is all looking good.

I have no bets currently open, apart from Donald Trump to win the election. I will try to figure out a couple of good bets in tonights matches to see if I can keep pushing the account forward.

I think targets work against you in trading....

You have to totally disregard them. The only thing,
is taking advantage of opportunities as they arise.

I also don't think there is anything wrong with
the quantity of betting you are undertaking,
you're just not managing it in the best way.

Brosef, you mentioned that I am not managing the quantity of betting that I am doing in the best way. You are probably right, but can you please explain to me what you mean exactly and how I can improve my betting. These are the bets that I have placed since the Barcelona game. Pre Barcelona, I was on £483, Post Barcelona, my account dropped to £318. In the days since then, I have recovered all of those losses and have now reached a new high of £520. I could now go and whack the whole account on an evens bet and get to the grand in just one bet, but obviously that is risky so I won't do it. There were four games yesterday where I cashed out early. I won't be cashing out early again. I have changed my cash out rules. Now I will only cash out before goals are scored if it looks like I am on the wrong side of the bet. I won't cash out when the bet is winning again, because it doesn't often switch around. That only happened once in the Sheff Utd / Gillingham game when the Gills were winning but the Blades turned it around. I will just ride it out and if it goes wrong, it doesn't matter.

Only 1. Last night I watched Italy v Spain and had an eye on the Wales game which was played at the same time.
Today, I kept an eye on the Brisbane / Melbourne game and will probably watch a qualifier tonight. Although tonight, I haven't found anything good to bet on. The games tonight are between strong teams vs weak teams and the prices reflect that. So betting opportunities are not in abundance this evening. Last night Italy / Spain and Wales / Austria were closer in price so I didn't have to risk too much capital betting against Austria and Spain. I didn't lay Georgia because their price was 12 to 1. I don't want to lay Bulgaria at France because their price is too long tonight. I'd be taking on too much risk. I don't want to get stung again like I did laying Celta Vigo against Barca.

I've been watching and betting on quite a lot of Brazilian football lately and this guy:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lIaP2oSMtis

CAMILO from Botafogo RJ is one hell of a good player. If Reading wanted to bring someone in from Brazil then this is the Top Flight recommendation. He is class.

The Brazilian games are on at 11:30pm and you can easily get the live streams from Tudotv.

Camilo is 30 and he has also played for Al Shabab and some team in China so I reckon it must be possible to bring his talents to Berkshire for a couple of seasons.

It's not even about quantity. If you are watching and gambling on the Australian Premier League whilst you are at work, you are addicted.
