AthleticoSpizz Eastleigh to give all of the matchday 889 matchday crowd revenue to North Leigh....whom they beat 6-0 in the FA Cup yesterday.

Nice

Looking forward to seeing who Westfield get

Eastleigh's owner (and ex Oxford United board member) is the North Leigh shirt sponsor

...he's also an ex-Nor Lye player and still has a business based in the Eynsham area.

Doubt if Westfields need to switch their tie now, as Curzon Ashton bt York in tonight's replay. National North side have an average home crowd of around 500 - and are currently struggling in the nether regions of their division, so a further upset may well be on the cards?

...here's the review - bit later than normal but the Interwebz went a bit screwy last night - after I'd almost finished posting  :x :|

Sorry to say that after all the help provided to me last week, given the cancellation of games around us in Harrow, we ended up meeting up at a pub to watch the England game. Thanks to FoC and YC though.

Got fixtures for tonight FoC?

Went to winchester saturday, a first half we should have been 3 up in we found ourselves 2-1 down then were awful 2dn half and lost 3-1. More great news as our captain leaves for Banbury.

Really is all falling apart at Diddy.

Looking at the draw, it's only really Eastleigh or Westfields (Woking area) who are anywhere near Reading and playing at home.

Eastleigh have got Swindon, so there's an obvious appeal to that one, and Westfields have have Curzon Ashton which is more your romantic non-league fixture I guess.

Bit of a bummer that drive on a Friday night to a Eastleigh and back. I thought it was other Westfields who were playing in the first Round? I think Midlands teams or something?

Think you're getting confused, Westfield (Woking) are NOT the same as Westfields (Hereford) where Curzon Ashton will be playing in the FA Cup

If you include Eastleigh as nearish then perhaps also Merstham's game v Oxford might be worth considering

After that it's probably St Albans v Carlisle or Borehamwood v Notts County (and there you might even see Kuhl warming the BW bench).

Ah fair enough, didn't realise there were two.

Did think it was a little odd that another side that close to Woking had done so well getting that far in the cup though!

Merthsam is a good shout too, especially if you're more the East Reading area.

....as a self-respecting Anorak - though not hardcore - I feel obliged to point out there are actually (at least) THREE - well 2 'Westfields and one 'Westfields' :P - there's another one in Sussex - our local version, often used to play double-header pre-season friendlies against the Sussex mob.

RE Merstham is a live game on BT Sport KO 12:30 and more than likely all ticket - from memory it's not a particularly big ground - social club just outside the turnstiles is a fair size though.
Local press preview of tie - nice dig in the last line too.....

Eastleigh game is on the Friday night; StAlebuns and Boreham Wood are on Sunday PM as are ties at Taunton & Maidstone

...here's tomorrow's NL fixtures - next round of the Vase - I'm probably heading a fair distance for a 'new' tick - is a cluster of ties around the
Peterboro/Northampton area - I think my mate wanted to go for Sporting Bengal but I've vetoed that, as it's round the 'stupid' end of the M25. 8)

I'm going to the Merstham game with Mrs DD, her brothers and her Step Dad. Her family live in Caterham so that's about 15 minute drive away. Just been reading about their team etc, don't look particular high up or any good but should be an absolutely horrendous ground for Oxf*rd. Could be a big shock.

73 Croydon 4-1 Bracknell Town - bit of a shocker here 'Robins' down to 9 men and some dubious penalty awards by some reports - including from the home twitterers.

Even more considering Bracknell were leading at half time. The sendings off were also little dodgy as well from the reports I've come across - esp. the first one which was supposedly for denying a goalscoring opportunity despite the presence of several covering players - but wasn't there myself so pinch of salt and all that.
