It was £160.

Now that I have stabilised again at close to my previous high point, I will now finally strichtly implement risk management. I should have done it before, but I keep losing my mind. I just can't seem to control myself.

Okay then.

double d Although you have made me look the fool by getting up so high. Are you going to try 10,000£

or start again ?

I don't know. I don't want to get complacent. I just want to see if I can get to a grand for now. Just a week ago, I was in the position that If Coutinho's shot was an inch higher and flew into the top corner of the net, I would have been bust. And that would have been ridiculous considering I had reached my highest point just the previous day. I totally destroyed my account in some moments of madness. I just have to strongly enforce risk management now and see if I can get to a grand. If I limit my losses, I won't go stupid trying to chase them back.

I think my biggest flaw in my betting is my own character. It's myself that I need to sort out.

These are the betting options for tonight along with the price for the home win/draw/away win...

Mgladbach v Eintracht Frankfurt - H 1.9 - D 3.8 - A 4.9
QPR v Brentford - H 2.86 - D 3.35 - A 2.9
Lille v Paris St-G - H 7.2 - D 4.2 - A 1.63
Leganes v Sociedad - H 2.72 - D 3.3 - A 3.1
Nacional v Sporting Lisbon - H 8.8 - D 5.1 - A 1.47

I'm going to bet more now on games which are very close to call. That way I can minimise losses and not lay a team off at long odds like I did when I lost big time on Inter Milan and Barcelona. I may also lay a team that is priced very short like Sporting Lisbon in the above prices if I feel their opponent has a very decent chance to stop them winning.

On that basis, I might consider betting on QPR v Brentford tonight. I believe Eintracht Frankfurt are doing quite well this season in the Bundesliga so laying Moenchengladbach may also be a possibility.

Also laying Sociedad might be a good move too.

In the QPR / Brentford match, who do you guys think is more likely to edge that game?

The Four bets that I've gone for this evening are the following:

In-Play Right now:

North East Utd V Atletico de Kolkata - Lay North East Utd To win £20 @ 1.44 liability £8.8
(I took this bet on at half time with the score being North East Utd 1 - 0 Atletico Kolkata. Hopefully Kolkata can equalise in the second half and get some sort of result)

Tonight:

Bor. Mgladbach V Eintracht Frankfurt - Lay Mgladbach To win £33 @ 1.93 liability £30.69
Leganes V Real Sociedad - Lay Leganes To win £18 @ 2.72 liability £30.96
QPR V Brentford - Lay Brentford To win £16 @ 2.9 liability £30.40

I am betting only 5% of my account on each bet.
My account now stands at £530 until these bets are settled.

Looks like I'm going to win the first bet. Atletico Kolkata have turned it around in the second half and now lead by two goals to one. Helder Postiga scored the first goal for Atletico with a header and Juan Belencoso has fired in what will hopefully be the winner. There are just 7 minutes to go. North East United would now need to score twice to mess up my bet. That sets things up nicely for the evening games.

I have finished the night on a new high. £655.

Any bets I place tomorrow will be following strict risk management rules. I have to be careful now not to f*ck this up.

Just decided to join betfair. I am nit going to do any of TF bets yet because i need to study it more.

5£ Treble of draws pays 18.76/1.

Boro v Bournemouth, Brighton v Norwich and afc Wimbledon v Bradford.

Home bet is forest green, plymouth, Doncaster, Scunthorpe , carlisle to win pays 16.91/1

Also done Watford to win, Hampton and Richmond to win, Ipswich, spUrs and RFC to win. 11/1

They have something called acca edge which I decided to do, it reduced my odds but if one team loses I get my money back

TF, what do you reckon you are bringing to this that's going to ensure you continue to increase your bankroll? What do you know about Eintracht Frankfurt, say, that the market setters don't?

Mate, I don't know. I've probably just been lucky so far. I'm making selections based on stats, recent form and price at the moment. I seem to do better in football nations where I know less about clubs and their reputations. The less I know, the better I seem to do. When I don't know much, I only go on stats and league form alone and that seems to produce better results. That's why I win more bets in Brazil than I do in England. In England I am probably thinking how can Huddersfield possibly get a result at Norwich. But if you only go on stats perhaps they can.

Guys, I got a dilemma now. Bet365 lured me back by offering to match my deposit 100% up to a £100 limit. So if I deposit £20 they'll give me a £20 bonus. I went for the maximum in order to get maximum bonus money to play with.

So yesterday I deposited £100. I entered the offer code and Bet365 gave me another £100 bonus money to play with so suddenly i had £200 in my Bet365 account. I have to turnover my deposit and bonus three times before I can withdraw any money. So I need to get to £600 before I can withdraw any money.

Before I could use my bonus I had to stake my initial £100 deposit, I didn't want to flaff about and waste any time so yesterday I whacked the full £100 on Reading to beat Forest at a price of 2.05. So now I had Bet365's £100 deposit to use. I put all of that on PSG to beat Lille last night at a price of 1.6. PSG won so I had £160 returned back to me. I then staked all of that £160 on Urawa Red Diamonds of Japan to beat Iwaba or whatever they're called this morning at 6am. That brought me up to £245. Then Reading beat Forest so that returned another £205 and now my account reached £450 which is where it is right now.

I have 90 days to turnover my deposit and bonus three times before I can withdraw. I'm already nearly there. I don't know what to do next. Do I bet carefully again with risk management and try and edge up to it? Or shall I just take a risk and whack it all on one more game. But I have to choose the next selection very carefully.

I'm very tempted right now to back Botafogo in their match against Coritiba in Serie A. But I'm not sure. I can back them at 2.2. That would do it.

They are in the second half, it is Botafogo 0 Coritiba 0. Botafogo have won all their last 6 games. Coritiba are sh*te. They are in the 52nd minute of the game. The price on Botafogo is now 2.3 and if I go all in I could hit the grand on Bet365 in one hit providing Botafogo get the winning goal. Botafogo are looking good and have been threatening. They have come close a couple of times already in the second half. It only looks a matter of time.......... Dilemma!!!!

I don't know what to do Double D. I really don't know. Botafogo are all over Coritiba but it's still 0-0. They are in the 60th minute now. The price is now 2.5

My Betfair is still £655, I haven't touched it today. I wanted to see what would happen on Bet365. How do I find safe passage from £450 to £600. I am thinking on Bet365 the best strategy is just to take one monumental risk and hope for the best. Botafogo nearly scored again just now.

I'm just going to leave it for tonight. It's still 0-0 and there are less than 20 minutes left.
The price is now 3. If I go all in with £450 now I could be up to £1350. That would have been amazing. But I will wait for that killer bet to present itself. Double D, your Nice bet for tomorrow sounds promising. I might have a little look at that one.
