any idea why we are playing at 20:00 on 30th rather than 31st (Saturday) like the rest of the league?

So that we don't have to go to football on NYE?

Another one in the W column for the club AFAIC

The most middle class hooliganism I've ever seen. I'm surprised they weren't giving each other gentle slaps and tickling each other

not really a surprise that, from arguably the 2 most middle class clubs in the division. Though Brighton may well argue their case.

A few other games have been moved to Friday, my only thought is that it could be for teams known for having issues leaving the ground maybe.

Regardless, it's probably more beneficial for us to play Monday - Friday - Monday, rather than Monday - Saturday - Monday.

I seem to remember the club has a certain amount of requests a year to move fixtures back or forwards a day, as long as the other club agrees too. Hence why we normally play on the Tuesday night after Easter and not on Easter Monday itself

To give us an extra days recovery before the Bristol game on the Monday.

It's because London Irish have a home game on the 31st.

Think it was moved simply because the club thought it would be nicer for fans to have NYE to do their own thing (or the Thais have some big new year thing themselves somewhere that they dont want ruined) rather than have football wreck more possible family get togethers.

It was moved pretty much as soon as the fixtures were announced so nothing to do with LI having a game on the Saturday as their fixtures dont come out until much later.

All a bit stupid IMO as its a local derby anyway and would be over before the party stuff really starts.

Still on the bright side we'll get an extra days rest before going to City on the Monday (unless their game was also moved to Friday).
