Just looking at the schedule (no confirmed date for our game at Yeovil I don't think), the final is the first weekend of April when we host Leeds, which throws up some logistical issues over availability of players and maybe even fans should we progress that far

It's almost like the EFL haven't thought this competition through...

I'm sure there will be the flexibility to move the Leeds game to the Friday if we make the final.
Player availability should not be an issue. If you are involved in the first team squad that weekend that pretty much means you should not be in the U23 squad !

Just to add -

I though Barrett was outstanding in the second half, slightly selfish but his driving runs really propelled the team forward. I would hope to see him included on the bench at some point this season.

We fully deserved the win tonight, and really should have won it during normal time.

I haven't had much of a chance to watch these lads this year so will write a bit more when I'm on a computer and can work out who they are

Agreed I thought Barrett was great - and was hard on himself when a couple of his through balls didn't quite come off (a mix of being ever so slightly over hit and the other player not reading them) which I think is a sign of a player who wants to get better. And someone has to take a chance and shoot sometimes, can't walk them all in, so I quite like that side of him.

Definitely deserved the win, and a thoroughly enjoyable evening out, home by 9.30, lovely.

This may have already been answered elsewhere, but been meaning to ask, is Danny Loader any relation to Graham?

Hi
Went to the game down at Southampton last night, pretty good , Saints were the better team in the first half( although their goal was scored from a mistake by us , we were by far the better team in the second.
Nice to see Niall Keown back (including scoring from a corner), Cooper was captain and Meite played well out on the wing, but star player for me was Josh Barrett one great shot hitting the bar in the 85th minute. No extra time straight to pens Jakoola saved their first two and Meite got the winning one. Wembley here we come
