AU said yesterday just a couple of bits of paperworks to do and should be confirmed by close today. Guess theyd like to have him as an option for qpr so will be anxious to resolve as well.

Wouldnt worry about that, Ilori hasnt played a properly competitive game since 2015 so dont think he'd be involved in anything more that a substitute capacity even if he was signed in time. Therefore the club probably arent overly concerned about the time its taking.

The thing I like, is that for a relatively young CB his positioning and reading of the game look very very good.
