PieEater vdB was playing centre half today.

Sorry I was just saying in general, the only difference today is that his mistakes are much more noticeable when in defence.

Ian Royal Kelly did indeed look the pick. Didn't think VDB was poor, as much as both out of position and out of his league.

He was out of his league. This was a premiership outfit.

The team as a whole recorded one shot on target today. Sums up the attacking threat as a whole.

Well Liam Kelly isn't the messiah after all, based on this showing at least.

*damning with faint praise* I thought he was our best midfielder by quite some way tonight. And there were far far worse performances all over the pitch.

I played better at right back last night than Gunter has most of his career.

Not impressed with Kelly at all last night. Lightweight and lacking pace. Set pieces bar one were crap as well.

All the other clubs with the pumped up kicks, you better run, better run, outrun Liam.
All the other clubs with the pumped up kicks, you better run, better run, faster than our Kelly.

There's nothing better than a bottle of Thunderbird on a Thursday night to get you into the weekend spirit is there.

Liam Kelly is rightly praised by Jaap Stam.
He's got so much quality, I'm always impressed by him - and he continues to improve.

. . . and hes only one inch shorter that N'Golo Kante. :)

Did have a pretty shit clearance last night which caused some trouble. But yes as a Reading and Ireland supporter I like him.

Did you go?

Everyone is going to make a mistake at this level but he was probably the best player on the pitch imo.

Of course I didn't. I live in paris. Yes my views on performance are completely pointless which is why I rarely give them right now.
But someone on here has to stop people putting young Kelly on a pedestal.

Showing Kuhl how to make the transition right now. Though Kuhl looked very good under Adkins.

Why? Kelly deserves all the plaudits he's getting at the moment. I have reserved to say "wow imagine how good he will be"..etc as Ian commented above regarding Kuhl. Player's develop differently all the time, he might be a one season wonder.. literally anything. That being said, I praise a player based on merit. I gave Gunter (i'm in the anti-gunter crew) praise last week because I thought he was good against Derby.

Fact is that Kelly was immense on Tuesday and on Saturday.

Also Paris is cool, was there for New Year's. Not sure I'd want to live there though.

I guess because the more he's built up the harsher people will get when he doesn't deliver the goods. I haven't had the pleasure of seeing him play other than the QPR game.
Paris is cool. I was in Bromley for new years... living here has its perks. The 13th month of pay in December is nice.

I heard his attitude changed as soon as he "made it" - thinking he was Berty Big Bollocks
