Victor Meldrew Once again Liverpool struggle against the lesser lights (Burnley,Sunderland, Bournemouth,Swansea and Plymouth) and yet generally do very well against the better teams.
Apart from having clear defensive weaknesses they struggle against packed defences and yet are the top scorers in the country.
At the moment they mirror City in so many ways-entertaining but lacking that edge and desire that Chelsea currently posess.

was a penalty?.....wasn't a penalty?.....irrelevant.........the ref didn't give it.....it wasn't a penalty, and never will be.No Fixed Abodegenome What a performance from Southampton. Rock solid.
Shame SSN this morning focused on the penalty appeals for Liverpool as though they were hard done by. The Long handball, definite penalty. The Origi one, not a penalty for me. But then Southampton should have had one too. Lovren on Yoshida.

genome Liverpool were not hard done by, by any means. Sturridge had 2 or 3 gilt-edged chances.

He was an absolute abomination last night, totally taking the piss and not in a good way like Suarez used to do against Norwich
