Ian Royal Typical winger.
Soft in defence, goes missing, but has the beatung of a full back, can whip in a good cross and scores a few important goals.
Don't think he hugely fits our shape... better in a traditional 4-4-2 with two strikers to aim at when he hits the byline.
Decent impact sub though. I like him.

3pointscatchy. Just trying to figure out the tune thoughRoyalBlue3points Does he have a song yet?
The foolish old football philistine behind me has one that he keeps going throughout games - something along the lines of:
'Get stuck in Beerens...
Beerens you bottled it again...
Beerens put some effort in...
Beerens you're useless!"

Jack Celliers He's good - scores useful goals and puts in the odd tackle. When we get these players from middling European clubs, I always fear the worst due to memories of Marek and Drenthe, but Beerens has been a pleasant surprise and coped well with the demands of the Championship.
If he was perfect, I guess he would have still been in Hertha's first team, or way beyond our price range, but I am happy that he seems to be a good player who is playing well.

I disagree. I think his lack of pace precludes him from being the typical winger and he'd struggle in a 4-4-2. He's very technical and uses that to get past full backs, I don't really ever recall him beating anyone for pace.
I like him in a crowd, he finds a way out and gets a pass in.

LWJ I think the thing with Beerens is he bottles a lot of challenges/headers and goes missing for large periods of the game.

Gunny Fishcake Has great potential to be a match winner but does rather blow hot and cold, let's hope he gets hotter as Spring approaches

Are we still talking about Roy Beerens or are you now talking about Jimmy Kebe?
