From Despair To Where?
FFS, just ignore the child and he'll soon get bored and go back to his Lego.
Agreed that genome should be ignored. Not sure why he took exception to those stats which started all this.

No Fixed Abode If you take the average points amassed per game over the season so far you're on course for 81 points.
If you take the average points amassed over the last 5 games you're on course for 75 points.
Oh shit. Stats again.

Form over 34 games is a better indication of season performance compared to form over 5 games.

Basildon So, remaining fixtures being:
Wolves (H) - W
Newcastle (H) - L
Preston (A) - D
Wednesday (A) - L
Leeds (H) - D
Blackburn (H) - W
Norwich (A) - L
Villa (A) - L
Rotherham (H) - W
Forest (A) - D
Wigan (H) - W
Burton (A) - W
Even with a (hopefully) pessimistic point of view, I reckon we've got a good chance of picking up another 18 points, which should place us comfortably in the play-offs.

I cant see the results happening anywhere near like that. If they happen upto Villa away we wont be in the top 6 come Rotherham at home and I think we would find it very hard to get back in. Especially as Wigan and Burton will still be battling relegation by the time we play them.
I think we will beat one of Sheffield Wednesday and Preston away, get a result away to Norwich and screw up Forest away and Wigan at home like we often do. I also fancy us to get something against Newcastle
We simply just have to win tomorrow and avoid defeat against Preston and Wednesday
