P!ssed Off Commentator: "Teammates need to rally around Blackett at half time."
No. Stam needs to take Blackett off at HT.

Absolute kak.

A racehorse would have been shot by now.

HT

I've heard it said that 2-0 leads are the toughest to defend. Hopefully that will be proven to be true today. :?

This weekend could blow the play-off race wide open by the way. Fulham and Norwich winning, us and Wednesday losing - and we play each other next week, so we can't both get 3 points.

And Reading's crusade to escape the play offs continues. With Newcastle being utter cr@p again Reading are likely to be 7th by 5pm next Saturday.

As to the game, seemed Reading actually were dominating and should have been leading, but for the usual problem of being unable to convert anything, and then yet another bog up from Blackett followed by another gift and it's game over.

When was the last time Reading managed an away goal?

I hate Preston away.

Blackett please fufck off. Yeah yeah luck and that but Moore would've dealt with the loose balls and not let it GO OVER HIS FOOT FOR A THROW IN

I think his first involvement vs Newcastle was the ball rolling under his foot to go out for a throw.
Same crap every week.

Many managers have a favourite who keeps getting played for reasons no fan can understand. He's had a couple of decent games in recent weeks, but with his overall body of work Blackett is Stam's.

Also Gunter once again pussying out of standing his man up - instead backs out and runs backwards like a French general in WW2 - tbh I hope he goes sooner rather than later

When's Fulham's game in hand?

Looks like it's their home game against Blackburn this coming Tuesday.

Poor half but always had this down as a defeat

We urgently need to sort out our away form though - been very poor for a while

Just hoping villa hold on and Newcastle get at least a point, coz I can't see us coming back. Likewise can't see us getting anything from Sheff Weds,

He had no choice, diving in would have been madness in that situation.
