Would love to see it but a big ask though

Bonus result that. Dropped points in last two home games Fulham.

Shows as the cliche goes - no easy games in the champ

Great result but also suggests the Blackburn home game might not be as straightforward (if anyone thought it would be) as it might.

None of those games (bar Rotherham) are likely to be easy. Blackburn looked like they played well and the two up front are dangerous certainly

Of course not. Theres no easy games in this league and Blackburn's team has some quality players. They'll stay up and thought after we nicked a win up there that they would.

Part of me was hoping Blackburn would have picked it up and been safe before we played them, thus eliminating any need to chase points for them, alas with games at home to Preston and away to Brighton, they are likely to be well and truly in the relegation scrap when we play them.

That said, at home we should win, obviously Fulham would have thought the same but our record at home is 2nd best, theirs is tenth.

I think Fulham will get into the top 6 regardless and the other two spaces will be between Leeds/Sheff Wed & ourselves. Important to not lose on Friday.

Recent form would suggest you're right. And it's a shoot out for 6th spot between Reading and Sheff Wed.

You could also make the argument that an already relegated team can play with freedom and without pressure often causing an upset.

Ergo (like RJ said) no easy games and nothing can be taken for granted. Every game is massive now.

Don't know whether I'm happy about it or not but Huddersfield are 1-0 down to Bristol City. Don't think it makes a massive difference to us but it would give Brighton a bit of breathing room

2-0 now, you might as well promote Newcastle and Brighton right now.

They have suffered a few defeats lately - nobody in the playoffs is particularly consistent right now.

Part of me wants Leeds to win, keeps our <1% chance of automatic promotion alive and, frankly it would be hilarious for them to bottle it and drop in the play-offs.

Draw for crappy northern Preston - pretty much rules any late surge from them out

Another point against a decent team for Blackburn. Unbeaten under Mowbray, definitely will be a challenge when they come to our place in a couple of weeks.
