Agents and players ask for what they think they can get and obviously they're going to try and push for as much as possible (and that becomes easier when you have several clubs chasing them) but that trend was set by idiot clubs putting money over everything else and paying it in the first place

Really sad to see what has happened to Orient over the last 2/3 years. Seem to have gone from League 1/Division 3 play off finalists about 3 years ago to the possibility of playing league games with Maidenhead next season
