glass half full
Pepe the Horseman Newcastle score a pen, ref disallows it and gives Burton a free kick. No one knows why.

It's Keith Stroud; that's why.

Keith did our game with Leeds on Saturday and, for the record, he has history with getting penalties wrong as he's the ref that did that penalty in Reading's 6-4 at Spurs. Sounds like he got that decision right at last but just in the wrong game.

The team do, the fans and Liam Rosenior, not so much.

In a way I'm glad they're going up automatically, think they'd do us over in the semis easier than any of the others.

Fair play to them though hopefully it won't be too long before they cement their status as a top 4 premier league team like they clearly deserve.

Although Fulham winning easily today, they have a tough run in - Huddersfield, Norwich, and Sheffield away....Villa at home and Brentford, not an easy game either....

Really can't see them catching us.

Wednesday 2-0 up against Newcastle. Looks like Brighton are in pole position for the title with 5 games left.

Finished 2-1

Pretty terrible day all round for Reading. Lucky the results in the week were so good

Damage limitation against Villa and then hopefully 3 pts from rotherham needed

Derby definitely hit a rich vein of form and by no means out of it for a play-off place

If they make it, they'll win it.

So due to the fact we are the only game on Saturday, we'll know where we stand before we play.

Friday's games

(3pm unless stated)

Huddersfield v Preston
Norwich v Fulham
Sheff Wed V Cardiff
Newcastle v Leeds

Can see us still being 4th and having at least a 5 point gap to 7th before we play although Newcastle's record at home against the top sides is awful, but Leeds' away record against the top sides is equally bad.

Probs been covered elsewhere, but why are we playing on Sat?

Who knows. Aside from the PL and one game in Division 3 all other games are scheduled for the Friday so presumably Villa moved the game to Saturday deliberately as can't see the games being scheduled for Saturday and everyone moving them to Friday.

As I can't see any club electing to move game and get one day's less rest before a game on Monday (Villa are at Fulham), I presume this is something inflicted on Villa by the police and once again Reading happen to get the short straw having already been done over at Sheffield due to the incompetent fixtures program. Therefore let's hope the game has the same result as at Sheffield....
