You see this is why I think promotion could be damaging. We're so bad away from home and against top opposition our home form will evaporate and losing will become a habit again.

No team who gets repeatedly thrashed away from home should get promoted.

How many smashings is it now? Newcastle, Brentford, Fulham... Norwich.

Lots of work to do still.

Weird side today - is Stam resting a few?

Hadnt had a chance to check on the team - Gravenberch on the bench? Must be pretty desperate

Could really do with Newcastle getting something tonight - been a really poor day so far

So bad away from home? Typical kneejerk reaction
How many games have we won away?
Howe many did we win last season ? and the season before?

14/15 = 5 away wins , away GD -20
15/16 = 5 away wins, away GD -12
16/17 = 8 away wins, away GD -12 excluding today's debacle

With Norwich , Forest and Villa all difficult away games I'd be happy with 3 points, so we forget this and move proverbially on with a good bit of bouncebackability

Why has Williams not been brought on?

Reading the live update on BBC Sport I'm not sure anyone from Reading is actually on the pitch

I do wonder if Stam may rest a few again for Villa. Didn't realise Rotherham which we are banking on for 3 points is only 2 days after

No point risking an injury. Keep him fresh for next Saturday. He was injured at the end of the Leeds game IIRC
