Was stood on the Toilehurst End that night, and was right behind the line of that shot.
In from the moment it left his boot.

The one away at Blackpool the year before was even better, mind.

I was right in line with it from the side of the pitch

He didn't score shit goals. I was at the Blackpool game as well and the away game at Plymouth where he also scored a similar goal.

Don'y apologise! This brought back some happy memories, although if I were a Stoke supporter I would feel a bit miffed at Mr. Pooley the referee.... :D

I remember watching him at Parky's testimonial and thinking he could probably still do a job

Remember his goal at Plymouth. Scored at far end and he ran the length of the pitch with his shirt over his head.
We lost, the home fans were a bit lively and it was the furthest I had ever driven!!

Beat me to it Warfield regarding the Plymuff game. Was going to post exactly the same observation. A lively afternoon with Dyl running the whole length of the field with his shirt over his head. FAF

DK seems a great guy. Am I right in thinking he's still living fairly locally?

I know he's been to a few games in recent months. Well at least one I've seen him mention

Still looked very much the part in 2011 at the Paul Turner (1994-2001 Reading Physio) benefit game at the M'stad.

Smashing bloke off of the pitch too.

Smashing bloke, and was a good player for us. Last I heard (recently) he was involved in the youth set up at Chesterfield, and I know prior to that he had been working at a club in Tanzania for a short stint.

That goal at Blackpool when we really did look like Brazil that day and got a huge reception from the Blackpool fans at the end.

And squeezed in to those poxy seats in the Oak Road stand at Luton.

What a boy.

He is still up here in Chezvegas and the locals are pretty impressed with him. Had a steady stream of his charges progressing into the first team since January....admittedly the Chesterfield team has hardly set the world alight, but the work he is doing seems well recieved!

Remember his visit to Luton very well, he was leading the singing at one point stood on the seats.
Also think he was at the Bradford away FACup qtr final the other year, as he came into the boozer we were in

Was that the Stoke game where there was quite a lot of singing about a part of an away female supporter's anatomy in reference to a large vessel for holding liquid?
