I'm warming to the idea of Fulham. Better away day, though for the playoffs both Huddersfield and Wednesday would be pretty fun too I can imagine.

They blow hot and cold as I've been saying for a while. I'm not convinced they'd be able to give two back to back good performances for the semis. The danger is that they could easily be 4/5 goals ahead by the time it's back at the Madejski.

At the end of the day we get who we get but I bet there are several Reading fans that wouldn't mind Burton getting something next week to maximise the possibility of finishing 4th or 5th and avoiding Fulham.

PS - what are the odds on Fulham losing 7-0 and Leeds winning 6-0?

I heard some murmurs as such on the way out of the ground. Can't say I agree - go for the win and keep the momentum going

I want to win every game. None of this lets throw it and try and finish 4th or 5th crap. Take pride in finishing as high as we possibly can. Think it's probably counter productive trying to avoid or get any one particular opposition.

We've as much chance of beating Fulham as the other 2 imo.

They aren't that special despite them constantly bigging themselves up. Their home form has been very patchy recently, and we've shown we can beat them at the Madejski

I reckon they'd be a bit complacent if they drew us. Depends a lot more on which Reading turn up

Huddersfield for me.

Easiest route to the final at the moment.
And wouldn't be that gutted to lose to them.

Another point to be made is do we really want our players traveling all that way up north? Fatigue is bound to set in soon for some of the teams.

I mentioned it before elsewhere but Fulham have the smallest squad of the teams in the play-off positions. They could potentially be the most tired.

Big Ern Would be nice to have a day out at Wembley

This is one of my absolute pet hates....if you want a good day out go to the seaside ! I wouldn't describe the Bolton, Walsall, Swansea and Arsenal games as good days out, they were nightmares

Looking at what Wagner did yesterday and making 10 changes and losing, I guess the 4/5th spot was his train of thought. Could be costly for them

They've had the most to do to get into the POs as well. We've been able to rotate a little and can do next week

Not sure about the travel thing though - I know it feels like a different planet, but Yorkshire isn't that far away, and they'd have to make the return journey of course

True. I just mean to say it would be better to minimise travel distance and would also guarantee the team we would get in the final would have a longer way to travel.

God I really don't like Wednesday.

Can't disagree with them that they are probably the most complete team. Will be a really hard to team to beat.

I'd want to avoid Wednesday, they've won 6 on the trot and I think we may have used up all our luck against them.

Have the league questioned this ?
It's a fairly clear breach of the rules and you would think Blackburn and Forest would be unhappy that a top 6 side had effectively thrown a game against side fighting relegation.
I bet Huddersfield are able to provide doctor's certificates for all 10 though
